Corner View ::: The End of my Street

This is not the End of my Street, but the End of Continental Europe, where I spent last week.

At the very top of the Denish peninsula Jutland (Denish: Jylland) the Skagerak (part of the North Sea and so part of the Atlantic Ocean) and the Kattegat (part of the Baltic Sea) are meeting.
With a lot of currency and a lot of shifting due to heavy winds the sand forms a sharp tip, that is moving towards the NE over the years.

When I was a child I enjoyed standing there with one foot into the Atlantic and one foot into the Baltic Sea.

This year I enjoyed childhood memories sitting on one of the many bunkers (not so nice memories of the second world war).

Today's topic for Corner View was chosen by Daan, who has a list of all Corner View participants here.

It would have been so easy to show you the end of my street, because I just have to step out of my door. I live at the dead end of a small street that leads directly into a big wood (luckily my neighbours recently bought the first part of the wood to prevent the prolonging of the street).
But: I forgot my camera in my car which is in the garage today. I will put a picture in this post tonite or tommorrow.
